Ohene Kwadwo Safo is a Medical Practitioner who believes in patient-centered care. He serves his patients with the belief that “There is cost and risk to every program of action, but that is far less than the cost and risk of comfortable inaction”.

Inspired by this belief, he leads the team at OKS Medical Consult and OKS Hospital, a health facility which provides added on services including health training and screening programs, home care, hospital attendant, wound care services and herbal pharmaceutical retail services.

Dr. Safo has contributed to various voluntary health advocacy projects across Ghana. He has worked with COCOBOD on health advocacy for healthy living in preparation for retirement and conducted health seminars, basic life support training and health policy planning for various organizations.

Dr. Ohene Kwabena Safo is a graduate of the University of Ghana Medical School. He holds a Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery. He is currently specializing in Family Medicine at the Ghana College of Physicians and Surgeons. He is the General Manager of Kantanka Herbal Pharmaceuticals & Research Centre. He also holds an MBA in Total Quality Management from the University of Professional Studies, Accra and certificates in Global Health Research and Leadership & Management in Health from the University of Washington.
