Founder & Executive Director

Amma is a financial inclusion and MSME development expert with extensive industry and consulting experience. She has served as a team lead in a management consulting firm for several years, playing an oversight role for consulting, media and financial literacy projects. She is an expert in capacity building and coaching for business managers. She is also skilled in delivering financial literacy sessions for individuals and groups. Her deepest passion is to contribute to the growth of the MSME sector and to alleviate poverty in Africa. She voluntarily trains artisans and traders on propagating good savings and lending habits and implementing eco-friendly business practices.

Prior to her consulting role, she worked in the banking and financial services sector in Ghana and in the UK. She functioned in diverse roles including financial management, investment banking & treasury operations, International Trade finance, micro-banking, strategic planning, change management, and people management. With a desire to drive change in the MSME sector, she has produced several online and print publications addressing diverse topics in the sector.

She holds a master’s in business administration from the University of Southampton, U.K and a B.Sc. degree in Business Administration (Finance and Banking) from the University of Ghana, Legon. She is a certified trainer of the International Labour Organisation’s Sustaining Competitive and Responsible Enterprises, (SCORE), and Score4Climate programs for MSMEs. She has engaged in several career development programs including, adult learning trainer of trainers program, fraud awareness & counterfeit detection training, and assets & liabilities management (ALM)

Her qualifications, experience, exposure to different industries and personal attributes has brought value to the enterprises, business groups and individuals she has served.
