Mrs. Akua Konadu-Yiadom

Executive Member & Legal Expert

Akua is a Barrister at law, a graduate from the Ghana School of Law in 2006. She launched her career into corporate law at Menka Premo and Co where she served as an assistant to senior associates conducting legal duties and research. She later joined the Attorney General’s Department as an Assistant States Attorney. She experienced law from the other side and dipped her toes into public service for the first time. She went back to what she thought would be a fulfilling career in private practice at AB and David, a reputable Law Firm, as an Associate for 8 years.

The mix of commercial and civil litigation and contract conveyancing was compelling. However, she sought to do something that could have an impactful legacy and lead a national agenda. She eventually returned to public service with the Bulk Energy Storage and Transportation Limited Company BOST in Accra, Ghana an organization in the downstream sector of the oil and gas industry, as a Senior Legal Counsel in the legal department where she’s worked for the past six (6) years.

Akua attended St. Louis Secondary in Kumasi where she obtained her GCE ordinary and advanced level certificates. She proceeded to University of Ghana Legon, for a Bachelor of Arts degree in Spanish and Linguistics. She then progressed to the Ghana Law School and completed in 2006. To expand her ability to adequately offer the best level of service in her field as a corporate Lawyer, she undertook a master’s in business administration (MBA) (International Business Management) at the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology, Kumasi, Ghana in 2013. She is a member of the Ghana Bar Association and Women in Energy, Ghana.
